🎯 Game Overview

Objective

Werewolf is a social deduction game where players are secretly assigned roles as either Werewolves or Villagers. The Werewolves try to eliminate all Villagers, while the Villagers try to identify and eliminate all Werewolves.

Game Phases

🌙 Night Phase

Special roles perform their actions in secret. Werewolves choose a target to eliminate.

☀️ Day Phase

All players discuss and vote to eliminate someone they suspect is a Werewolf.

Win Conditions

🐺 Werewolves Win

When the number of Werewolves equals or exceeds the number of Villagers.

🏘️ Villagers Win

When all Werewolves are eliminated.

🎭 Roles & Abilities

🐺 Werewolf Team

🐺 Werewolf

Ability: Each night, werewolves secretly choose one player to eliminate.

Special Rules: Multiple werewolves must all be assigned before the kill action can proceed.

Win Condition: Eliminate all villagers and special roles.

🐺🍼 Wolf Cub

Ability: No special abilities. Part of the werewolf team.

Special Rules:

  • • Reveals to moderator and werewolves on first night
  • • Cannot be killed by werewolves
  • • If eliminated during day, werewolves get an extra kill next night

🏘️ Villager Team

🏘️ Villager

Ability: No special abilities. Must use deduction to identify werewolves.

Win Condition: Help eliminate all werewolves.

🔮 Seer

Ability: Each night, investigate one player to learn their role.

Strategy: Use information to guide village decisions.

⚕️ Doctor

Ability: Each night, protect one player from werewolf attacks.

Special Rules: Cannot protect themselves.

Strategy: Protect key players or yourself strategically.

🧙‍♀️ Witch

Ability: Has two potions - one to save a player, one to kill a player.

Special Rules: Each potion can only be used once per game.

Strategy: Use potions strategically to help villagers.

🏹 Hunter

Ability: When eliminated, can immediately eliminate another player.

Strategy: Use revenge ability to take out suspected werewolves.

🛡️ Bodyguard

Ability: Each night, protect one player from werewolf attacks.

Strategy: Similar to Doctor but can protect themselves.

🔍 Detective

Ability: Each night, investigate one player to learn their role.

Strategy: Similar to Seer, gather information for the village.

👑 Mayor

Ability: Vote counts as two votes during day phase.

Strategy: Use voting power to influence eliminations.

✨ Special Roles

💘 Cupid

Ability: On first night, link two players as lovers.

Special Rules: If one lover dies, the other dies automatically.

Win Condition: Survive with their lover, regardless of team.

🎭 Doppelganger

Ability: On first night, choose a player to copy.

Special Rules: When the copied player dies, Doppelganger becomes that role.

Win Condition: Depends on the role they become.

🌙 Night Phase

Role Order

First Night: Wolf Cub → Werewolves → Seer → Doctor → Witch → Hunter → Bodyguard → Detective → Mayor → Cupid → Doppelganger

Subsequent Nights: Werewolves → Seer → Doctor → Witch → Hunter → Bodyguard → Detective → Mayor

Role Discovery

On the first night, roles are discovered one by one. The moderator calls each role and assigns them to players.

Multiple Werewolves: All werewolves must be assigned before the kill action can proceed.

Protection Mechanics

Doctor/Bodyguard Protection: If a player is protected and targeted by werewolves, they survive.

Wolf Cub Protection: Wolf Cub cannot be killed by werewolves.

☀️ Day Phase

Discussion Timer

Auto-start: Discussion timer automatically starts when day phase begins.

Duration: Default 5 minutes, can be customized by moderator.

Voting

Process: All players vote for someone to eliminate.

Mayor: Mayor's vote counts as two votes.

Result: Player with most votes is eliminated.

Wolf Cub Elimination

If Wolf Cub is eliminated during day phase, werewolves get an extra kill the following night.

Lovers (Cupid)

Linking: Two players are linked as lovers on first night.

Death: If one lover dies, the other dies automatically.

Doppelganger Transformation

Copying: Doppelganger chooses a player to copy on first night.

Transformation: When copied player dies, Doppelganger becomes that role.

Double Kill (Wolf Cub)

If Wolf Cub is eliminated during day, werewolves can kill two players the following night.
